As music listeners, we’ve all had the experience in which you’re left completely revitalized and in high spirits after hearing certain songs and that’s the same type of vibe I was left with after taking in the unbridled energy of “28 Summers Left”, a kinetically resounding single by pop-rock recording artist Son of Stone (SoS).

SoS’ path to music has been extraordinary without a doubt as he has worked professionally at such tech giants as Google and Microsoft to name a few, however in 2019, he channeled his passion for music into his debut release and he has surged full steam ahead at an incredibly prolific pace since then, having dropped eleven albums to date. Absolutely remarkable as he fervently maintains a goal of releasing a new song EVERY WEEK!

Son of Stone

Well, with that said, SoS’ musical creations have been tremendously well-received by music listeners and industry pundits alike having amassed over a million streams collectively in addition to several Spotify editorial playlist placements. Cultivating a sound which he creatively refers to as “Pop-Rock Version 3.0”, SoS continues his tsunami type-wave of music releases with “28 Summers Left”. He shares the back story and compelling concept behind the song with an equally interesting title…

“28 summers left” is an energetic summer song about enjoying every day like it is your last, since you only have a limited time left. The cheerleading feeling of the song is to energize the listeners and focus on the good and positive thing in life. “28 summers left” is the first song of Son of Stone’s 11th album (“The end of Rock’n’Roll?”)

– Son of Stone (SoS)

SoS captures the essence of the song’s theme with a vibrant vocal performance that he delivers with a commanding, carefree zeal. As mentioned above, it projects an unadulterated energy that injects a lively spirit into the overall soundscape of the song. The masterful sound design also intensifies the potency of “28 Summers Left” driven by a lush layering of vocals which creates a choral, anthemic feel to the song, almost like a stadium full of rabid fans bellowing the lyrics….it hits you right away from the opening note as the word summer is spelled out with an infectious veracity. Backed an instrumentation which features a gritty, industrial-like collection of piercing guitar riffs and phrases, “28 Summers Left” is a track that cannot be contained. Top notch production…performance and lyricism. Boom!

“28 Summers Left” is available on all streaming platforms. Make sure to stream it on repeat, playlist it and save it to your Favorites Library for quick access. Also, while you’re there, take the opportunity to check out the other dazzling selections in SoS’ expansive catalog of music.
