St Diego (aka Young D or Saint D)is a burgeoning recording artist who is a one-stop shop for every aspect of the music making process. The Utah native boasts a dynamic skillset as a rapper, vocalist, producer and sound engineer. Possessing such a versatility as an artist gives St Diego an advantage over his peers as he is involved in his music from the point of creation all the way through to post-production.
With this high level of involvement, the young creative can shape his songs and sound into whatever vision he intends for them. In a further display of his adeptness musically, St Diego has dropped a new release titled “Cold Coffee” via Aristocrat Records and in conjunction with GMusic Productions.
The “Cold Coffee” single is also accompanied by a visually compelling music video which contains an assortment of eye-catching, colorful filters….psychedelic in a sense. “Cold Coffee” has a chill-hop, lo-fi soundscape driven by a rhythmically ambient phrase. St Diego laces the instrumental with a mellow, melodic flow that indices you into an easy listening state. You just find yourself vibing along to the rhythm, particularly as St Diego digs into his harmony bag singing the extremely catchy hook.
St Diego not also impresses on “Cold Coffee” with his vocal delivery but his lyricism is off the charts…The emerging rapper brings pure bars to the table that contain a big time dose of clever wordplay and metaphors that have come to define his flow and style.

A versatility from Michael Jackson to Janis Joplin. Growing up listening to Future & Drizzy Drake. This young up & coming MC, vocalist, producer & engineer has got the next wave in his hands. He’s all for great melodies, catchy hooks, punchy lines & solid bars.
Growing up in Kearns, Utah was very adverse for him. His junior year of high school he was ready to dropout & hit the road, thinking this lifestyle would fall right into his lap.
At times he’d be up way before sunrise just to write some raps or spit a freestyle. Staying over late nights at local artists to touch up his production and get the levels just right. He’d be free of service to whoever wanted to grow. This however taught him patience & allowed him to see his worth. It never really sat right with him to pay for an engineer or producer, knowing he could do it all right there himself.
Taking the next couple years ahead of him to mainly focus on his versatility, vocals & crafts he took his colleagues by surprise and soon enough the locals would come to know about him. He has a strong and viscous team supporting this vision. To change the game & do it all while spreading love. This is just the beginning for St Diego.
Kevin James has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry in various facets. He has worked as a recording artist, songwriter, producer, on-air radio personality, background actor and film director. Kevin is a Member of the National Writer's Union.
