Gianluca Zanna Paints an Alluring Picture of Seduction and Intimacy in the “Storm (Take Me) – Erotic Remix)”

Italian recording artist Gianluca Zanna has launched his artistry and craft to a stratospheric level as he has crafted a prodigious catalog of singles and remixes that each have a unique flair and character. Gianluca distinguishes himself from the typical producer as he has an active vision for creation sparked by actual events in his life or moments happening around him at the time. He is constantly reimagining his songs and subsequently creating updated works of musical art that encompass the core elements of the original version yet are reshaped into a wondrous new song.
Gianluca has worked his remix magic again with the release of the “Storm (Take Me) – Erotic Remix” featuring the vocals of Michelle, via Zanna Records. This sultry rendition of “Storm” is a musical bonanza with its wide ranging assortment of instrumentation and enticing sound design, not only on the sound elements themselves but masterfully accentuates the vocals as well.
So what sparked Gianluca’s latest bout of ingenuity? he shared that he utilized the base instrumental of the “Storm (Club Remix)”, stripped the vocals and asked Michelle, who is actually his personal assistant to voice the new lyrics he wrote for the (Take Me) version. Ultimately, Giancluca says, “The goal of this song is to spread love and good vibes in this world invaded by evil and wars.“
This track is the ultimate musical portrait of a buildup from romance to being in the throes of full-blown intimacy as Michelle passionately bellows seductive remarks such as…”Take me…” and “Can you reach my soul?!?”, leading to a sizzling bridge section of heavy panting and breathing.
The “Storm (Take Me)” remix features such prominent instruments as a rhythmically buzzing moog bass line. The chord progression laid down adds a dramatic, tempting aura to the song. The track also features an incredible supersaw driven melody draped with a resounding oscillator and an accompanying synth groove which display the intrinsic musicality of the composition. So hey! with this type of magnificent soundscape and theme, an equally emotive vocal performance and lyricism must go along with it and Gianluca accomplishes this tenfold with his impromptu collaboration with Michelle..

More About Gianluca Zanna
Gianluca Zanna’s own musical journey began in Italy, where he was born in Rome. After what was in many respects an idyllic early childhood near the sea, listening to his grandfather’s serenades, soaking in the cinematic epic musical scores and fantasy in his family’s movie theatre, he went to a much more sterile and even harsh environment–boarding school. From the young age of 10, he grew up in the Italian National Boarding School “Convitto Nazionale,” and then through the elite Military Academy Nunziatella, the oldest Military School in the world. During his Convitto Nazionale boarding school experience, Gianluca discovered the magic of music–he could fly away to another universe. From that point on, instead of playing soccer, he wrote songs–both lyrics and melody. He serendipitously found some old instruments in the attic of the school, and using them, he taught himself how to play a bit of guitar, bass and drum.
At that same time, as a young teenager, Gianluca studied Ancient Latin and Ancient Greek, where he discovered a love for the great Italian poets of the classical past, like Ovid, Catullus, and Petrarch, leading to Dante and then D’Annunzio; he admired their ability to transmit feelings and pictures in a few brief phrases as a way to fight for what they believed in whether it be love, freedom, or another of their humanist values. Every spare moment, inspired, he found happiness writing his own poetry in a special little notebook, filling it with what became lyrics to his songs.
When Luca grew up in Italy in boarding schools and he was dreaming to become a songwriter and emigrate to America, he was listening to the work of Brian Reeves, a world-famous record producer and sound engineer among his credits Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, Billy Idol, U2, Simple Minds. Today Brian Reeves has mixed some of his latest songs like “I Want to Know”, “Storm”, “I AM” and “The Other Side of my Heart Remix”
